A1R Samurai production Racer REFERENCE PICS CHAPTER 1
This comes from an eBay auction in 2004, very tidy restored bike, was still going strong at $8’650 2 days before the end. I can’t remember how much it sold for.
- There should be some stickers on the tank…
- That is the original 4LS front brake
- In this case the kickstarter shaft was retained: Maybe an indication of a roadbike based racer? Usually you’ll find the oil sight in its place. Note also the selector arm sticking out below, indicating a correct part. The A1/A7R gearbox arm was longer to allow for Brit/colonially inclined riders to have RH selection
- Correct exhaust mounts, means the cylinders are race type (spigots)
- Correct Tach. The last one I saw (sold by mistake, the guy didn’t know what he had) fetched almost 600$
